The route, day by day

Day 1

Arrive Delhi

Arrival and hotel stay.

Day 2

Delhi to Rishikesh

Drive to Rishikesh.

Day 3

Rishikesh to Joshimath

Long Garhwal road journey to Joshimath.

Day 4

Joshimath – Govindghat – Ghangaria

Drive to Govindghat and trek to Ghangaria.

Day 5

Valley of Flowers excursion

Walk into the national park, spend time in the valley and return to Ghangaria.

Day 6

Hemkund Sahib excursion

Climb to Hemkund Sahib and return to Ghangaria.

Day 7

Ghangaria – Govindghat – Badrinath

Trek down to Govindghat and continue by road to Badrinath.

Day 8

Badrinath to Gwaldam

Drive across Garhwal towards Gwaldam.

Day 9

Gwaldam – Kausani – Almora

Continue through Kumaon to Almora.

Day 10

Almora to Nainital

Drive to Nainital.

Day 11

Nainital to Delhi

Drive to Delhi / onward transfer.
