About the trek

What to expect on this route

Tarsar Marsar is a visually generous trek with a softer rhythm than many high-pass routes. Forest, river, meadow and lake sections unfold naturally from the Aru side.

It is suitable for fit first-time high-altitude trekkers when approached with the right acclimatisation and preparation.
