What to expect on this route
Kuari Pass is one of Garhwal’s enduring trekking routes, moving from village paths and forest into broad high-country views.
The longer Curzon Trail approach gives the journey real depth, while the final format can be adjusted to the group’s time and road access.

The route, day by day
Arrive Delhi
Arrival, hotel and optional city sightseeing.
Delhi to Rishikesh
Drive to Rishikesh and evening Ganga Aarti when practical.
Rishikesh to Ghat
Drive through the Garhwal river confluences to Ghat.
Ghat – Selu Bagar – Ghunni
Short drive to the trailhead followed by a climb to Ghunni.
Ghunni – Vinayak Pass – Jhinjhi
Cross forested ridges and descend to Jhinjhi village.
Jhinjhi to Pana
Trek to Pana, the last major village before the high pass section.
Pana to Dhakwani
Climb through rhododendron forest and meadow country to Dhakwani.
Dhakwani – Kuari Pass – Tali
Cross Kuari Pass early for wide Himalayan views, then descend to Tali.
Tali – Auli – Joshimath
Traverse towards Gorson/Auli and continue by road to Joshimath.
Joshimath to Rishikesh
Drive back through Garhwal to Rishikesh.
Rishikesh local day
Flexible rest / sightseeing day.
Rishikesh to Delhi
Drive to Delhi.
Departure
Onward airport/rail transfer.
