Day-wise itinerary

The route, day by day

Day 1

Kathgodam to Pithoragarh

Drive across Kumaon to Pithoragarh for the first overnight stop.

Day 2

Pithoragarh to Urthing

Drive via Dharchula into Darma Valley towards Urthing.

Day 3

Urthing to Nagling

Trek roughly 9 km to Nagling.

Day 4

Nagling to Panchachuli Base Camp

A longer trekking day into the upper valley and base-camp area.

Day 5

Base Camp exploration

Explore the base-camp meadows and viewpoints beneath the Panchachuli massif.

Day 6

Base Camp to Nagling

Retrace the trail down to Nagling.

Day 7

Nagling – Urthing – Dharchula

Trek to Urthing and drive to Dharchula.

Day 8

Dharchula to Almora

Drive back through Kumaon to Almora.

Day 9

Departure

Onward departure from Almora/selected transfer point.
